Government Polytechnic College Reasi organized Poster making Competition Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
As a part of 100 Days Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan launched by District Administration Reasi, Government Polytechnic College Reasi today organized a poster making competition on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The main objective of the competition was to spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society. Around 40 students actively participated in the competition and showcased their creativity through meaningful and informative posters. The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Arun Bangotra and coordinated by Er. Himanshu Bakshi and Parshotam Lal, faculty members, who encouraged students to take part in such awareness activities. Principal Dr. Arun Bangotra emphasized that educational institutions play a pivotal role in the "Nasha Mukt" campaign, noting that awareness is the strongest shield against the menace of drug addiction. He stressed that such activities play an important role in spreading awareness and motivating students to contribute towards a drug-free society.
The posters made by students reflected strong messages “Say No to Drugs” and highlighted the importance of a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and creativity from students of all the departments. The 1st prize in the competition was won by Mr. Vikram from Mechanical Department, while 2nd prize went to Ajay Singh of Electrical Department and 3rd to Aman Lal of Electrical Department. The event concluded successfully with appreciation for all participants. The judges for the competition were faculty members, Er. Veena Thapa, Er. Ayushi Magotra and Er. Parshotam Singh.
